Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel with hotel pickup and entrance before opening to the general public

We will pick you up at your Hotel or Apartment in central Rome at 6:45 to take you to the Vatican Museum Entrance where you will be meeting your private guide by 7 am, hours before the museums open to the general public, from 9 am and at 8 am for the tour operators groups. We will be entering by 7:15, starting from Vatican Museums, where we enter the Pinecone Courtyard where an American Buffet Breakfast will be offered. While you enjoy your breakfast your Private Vatican official Tour Guide will illustrate the general history of the museums and the Sistine Chapel. By 8 am you will be walking in the empty galleries to enjoy the amazing Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel before the crowds arrive.

You will then walk to the terrace overlooking the Gardens and Saint Peters basilica, then visit the collection of Greek and Roman sculptures, admiring the famous statue of Apollo, the Laocoon, and the Belvedere Torso, along with statues of animals, the Coffins of St. Helen and St. Constance. We will see the Galleries of Tapestries and the frescoed Maps of all Italy painted in 1585.

We will visit The Rooms painted by Raphael and his pupils and the Borgia Apartment with the Collections of Contemporary art and the recently restored frescoes by Pintoricchio.

At the end of the tour, you will have the option to spend more time exploring other sectors of the Museums at your pace, or visit the Basilica of Saint Peter's. Your
